The Jolly Journey began with a leap of faith. I left corporate america to pursue my purpose, I wanted to in some way change the world for the better...12 years later this journey has charted a clear path beyond the financial wilderness. Since the beginning leap of faith there have been many others.
As I traveled the country conducting research about faith, finance, entrepreneurship, wealth creation and our communities capacity to integrate these things, my friends and family would call and the first thing they would ask is "Pamela, Where in the world are you?" I would promptly say I am on the JollyJourney!
As I began to dive deeper into the legacies of my grandparents and many men, women, and businesses of their generation, the once quick response took on a deeper meaning. I am a Jolly, which is a beautiful a legacy of blended families whose hopes and dreams fueled a fire in me. This journey as a result, took on deeper meaning for me — I began to realize I was connecting the dots between generations to determine how we all can join a wealth journey we were promised via inheritance. There is a torch that is passed from one generation to the next, its time we organized the way in which we give and recieve it so wealth can become a reality for more of us in our communities.
Jolly means to encourage someone in a lively or friendly way. Journey means a process of personal change and development. The Jolly Journey has become a lively and friendly collective invitation to explore and unearth the promises that are hidden in each of our legacies.
After talking with thousands of people I grew to love exploring patterns in our beliefs and interests about what is possible in our lifetimes. We all have a window of opportunity to pursue both our dreams and the promises of those that have come before us. The result of my journey has been the creation of the NarrowRoad™, a culturally relevant process to understand the principles of faith, business, and finance so anyone and everyone who desires to live a life of purpose and promise can do so. We all in some way believe in our abilitiy to succeed, lets unblind that faith and do it!
