The Omaha Legacy Wealth Initiative

The Omaha Legacy Wealth Initiative sparks a collaboration between Torch Enterprises Inc and the Empowerment Network led by Willie Barney.  

Willie Barney and Dr. Pamela Jolly met at the George Fraiser Power Networking Conference in 2014.  It was there they recognized a shared mission and commitment to elevating the standard of business in the Black Community.  Since 2014 Dr. Jolly has been invited to keynote various conferences hosted by the Empowerment Network. She has also facilitated numerous workshops on the topics of faith, finance, community economic development, and legacy wealth. In 2015 Dr. Jolly returned to Omaha to host the second NarrowRoad™ Faith-Based  Economic Development Pilot with The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (IMA) sponsored by Wells Fargo.  

This year, Dr. Jolly will engage the steps along the NarrowRoad™ to legacy wealth with the North Omaha Community to explore ways wealth can be created as a community.  Starting with a series of intensives in early 2017, the data driven process of the NarrowRoad™ will be used to write a  vision for wealth in North Omaha and make it plain with the pastors, leaders, and residents actively engaged in rebuilding their community.
